The common challenges of the stadia market are time and space constraints. The customers (audience) is only at the stadium for a limited time and in that time frame the merchandise store has to sell as much as possible. The store managers’ challenge is to find the right balance between number of fixed tills and selling space and their needs differ between events.

mPOS - Stadia Edition is designed to enable the store managers to use handheld payment devices for queue busting before the events start (like before matches) and then to extend the store to the stadium itself during and before the event. The cashiers then typically go between the corporate boxes and sell merchandise from a catalogue and accept payments. The order is simultaneously printed out at in the stock room somewhere else in the stadium and other staff members bring the merchandise to the customers - all increasing the revenue earned per event.
